Yukon Optics

Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide is a Lithuanian company that designs and manufactures outdoor optics, including binoculars, spotting scopes, rifle sights, rangefinders, and a selection of night vision systems. Recently, the company has ventured into the thermal imaging market, with a British made thermal imager, the Pulsar Quantum.
Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide own factories in Lithuania, Belarus, Scotland, USA, and PRC. Beltex Optics is the Belarusian subsidiary of Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide, ((ロシア語:Белтекс Оптик))〔(ИП «Белтекс Оптик» )〕 who manufactures high quality optics.〔(Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide )〕 Other factories are based in Scotland (Polaris Vision Systems), USA (Pulsar Systems USA), Lithuania (UAB Yukon Advanced Optics, and China (OPYU Enterprise China).〔 The company also markets telescopic sights and night vision devices under the brandname PULSAR.〔(Pulsar-nv.com )〕
Yukon Advanced Optics design and manufacture products for the medium to upper end of the consumer and professional market, whilst the Pulsar brand is targeted towards the higher end consumer and professional user.
Yukon branded products include a range of daylight optics, some of which represent breakthrough technologies, such as incorporating a Catadioptric design in a hand-held consumer spotting scope for example. Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide are the World's largest manufacture of night vision systems, with technology that includes both IIT and Digital night vision.
Pulsar products comprise mainly of night vision and thermal imaging equipment, which employs IIT technology (CF-Supertube, Generation 2+ and Generation 3), and digital night vision technology.
The Pulsar Digisight N550 (which ceased production in September 2012, and has now been replaced by the Pulsar N750 Digisight) was one of the most successful and sought after night vision rifle sights in the World, with performance comparable to Gen2 and resolution comparable to lower-end Gen3 systems, but at a fraction of the price. The Pulsar Digisight, and recently released Pulsar Forward DFA75 and Pulsar DN55 digital front attachment is in all probability, the future of night vision development. This assumption is based on the rapid progression of digital technology that has overtaken many other industries (photography for instance).
Since 2012, Yukon Advanced Optics has developed, and continues to develop, a range of cutting edge thermal imagers, notably the Pulsar Quantum hand-held monoculars, and the Pulsar Apex HD/XD range of thermal rifle sights. These products use ULIS resistive amorphous silicon microbolometers, with refresh rates of 30Hz and 50Hz, which firmly puts them at the forefront of uncooled thermal imager performance.
Territorial distributors are forbidden to sell products outside of their distribution territories. The Bresser GmbH (the leading company for optical consumer goods in Europe) for example is the exclusive distributor of Yukon Advanced Optics for Germany and Austria.〔(Yukon Advanced Optics distributor for Germany and Austria )〕 However, some older Yukon products find their way onto global markets through liquidation sales, and are sold as new products from on-line stores and auction sites. Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide does not support warranty claims for 'Grey' sales, i.e. items purchased from unauthorised sources. This applies to online sales from Amazon, eBay, and other global sites, as well as other illicitly imported products sold through non-authorised dealers.
